- We currently have three 1 year old remaining from a previous litter and two 8 week old from our current litter.
Kurilian Bobtails (Kurbobs) are extremely rare in the US with fewer than 100 known animals. They are wonderful, friendly, fun, disease free, and the only known remaining aboriginal cat in the world. In other words, they are just as Mother Nature and Father Time made them, beginning several centuries ago when, by chance, their ancestors ended up on the Kuril Islands. No human intervention was involved and, as a result, their mutations and adaptation to the very harsh environment led to these robust and health creatures with no known diseases or genetic problems common in other rare breeds.
