- Hi! I'm opening a Micro Monkey Sanctuary specializing in Capuchins, Spider Monkeys and Marmosets/Tamarins affected by the pet trade! I live in Murphy, NC. and have a 1.5 acer property that they will be able to explore and run around on! I just want to be clear that we do NOT buy or sell monkeys for money! This is a rescue, rehab and rehome so if we can't take your monkey or monkeys in then we will find another sanctuary or something to take them in! We do NOT sell them back into the pet trade! I can legally keep any primate under 10 pounds without a license or permit. I also have a wonderful vet nearby that can check up on them or take them to. I have experience caring for many different animals and have built other enclosures for them etc. I love animals and will care for your monkey as if they were part of my family! I have limited spots available so if that's something you would be interested in or know someone that needs to rehome their monkey then please do not hesitate to reach out.
