Ord's Kangaroo Rats (captive bred babies)

I currently have two young male kangaroo rats from two separate litters available for sale. There are very few people breeding these in captivity or keeping them as pets, but they are delightful rodents. The babies have been extensively handled and will remain tame, but individual temperament varies a lot between kangaroo rats - some are very gregarious and interactive, and others are more shy and secretive. I am available to answer questions about care/husbandry and I will only sell to approved homes. Pups are $250 and I will work with reputable animal transporters. These are solitary animals who do best housed alone in a large terrarium set up with ample burrowing opportunities.
