Ord's Kangaroo Rats (captive bred, extensively handled and socialized)

Captive bred, legally obtained Ord's kangaroo rat babies available. Excellent exotic pets for the rodent enthusiast (similar in size and appearance to gerbils, but they hop just like mini kangaroos). Not closely related to real rats (they are more like gophers but look nothing like them). Care requirements are specialized but not particularly difficult (happy to discuss, and homes will be screened before sale to ensure that husbandry is adequate). The babies are hand tame and can be held or permitted to free roam with supervision, but these are not pets for small children. Please contact for more details.
