We purchased a 6 1/2 month old red kangaroo Joey from Cathy in 2022. By fall, the little boy had died. The necropsy revealed that he had genetic liver disease which meant it was only a matter of time that he would have died. What was extra disappointing was that this breeder/veterinarian never responded in anyway to the pages of necropsy results that I sent to her. I would strongly suggest you ask for a blood test before getting any kangaroo from her. I was also told by several other veterinarians who know her it would be better to send the paperwork and not call her because she can be very defensive and difficult to work with. The expense to keep the little boy alive, and the cost of the Necropsy also placed a heavy burden on us. Be sure to look up other reviews because apparently my review is not the only bad one out there. She is not very well liked I have learned in the Kangaroo community and I wish I had known that before making a long trip to pick up my new little boy
