• Barbados Blackbelly-exotic polled hair sheep from the Caribbean island of Barbados. Purebred and registered. No wool, no shearing. Prolific, breed year-round; usually twins, often triplets, good mothers. Disease resistant. Do well with weed clean up. 20 years ago, there were fewer than 100 Barbados Blackbelly sheep in the U.S. Barbados Blackbelly breeders association has increased population to a few thousand. Critical to expand the population of this historic and uniquely advantageous breed of sheep so they don't disappear or become hopelessly crossbred.
